Southern Wells’ middle school cross country teams traveled to the Oak Hill Invitational on Saturday. Both the boys and the girls finished second out of the 12-team field. The boys’ top runners were: Logan Leas in sixth place, Chase Kirkwood (seventh), Colten Fiechter (11th), Rylan Leas (12th), Vance Mounsey (22nd), Rhett Tucker (48th) and Logan Rogers (52nd). Top girls’ runners were: Aubree Neuenschwander in sixth place, Grace Rogers (13th), Tenley Fiechter (19th), Anna McFarren (22nd) Parker Bryant (26th), Ellie Nichols (27th) and Alexis Sunderman (32nd).
