Bluffton’s Tyler Godwin competed as the first Tiger since 2000 at the state meet in Terre Haute on Saturday afternoon.

The senior finished in 168th place out of 250 runners with a time of 16:36.8 (5:20.8 per mile).

Godwin finishes his career with two ACAC individual titles, two ACAC team titles, a team sectional champ, a semi-state appearance, and led Bluffton to some of its best seasons in school history.

Cameron Todd of Brebeuf Jesuit was the individual champion with a time of 14:55.5, while Carmel was the team champion with a score of 76.

Places 2-5 in order for the boys were Fishers, Brownsburg, Zionsville, and Hamilton Southeastern.

For the girls, Libby Dowty of Indian Creek was the individual champion with a time of 17:06.7.

Homestead claimed the crown in first place with a team score of 108.

Places 2-5 in order for the girls were Fort Wayne Concordia, Valparaiso, North Central, and Franklin Central.
