Richard “Rich” L. Stoller, 82 of Bluffton, passed away on Saturday morning, November 19, 2022, at his residence in Bluffton.
Rich was born on November 11, 1940 in Haviland, Ohio to Clyde and Clara (Sinn) Stoller. He graduated from New Haven High School in 1958.
Rich was a patient and kind man with a creative mind for numbers and design. There seemed to be no project that he would not tackle. He was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church since 1960. Over the years he served as a Sunday School teacher and as treasurer for the Bluffton North congregation.
He began at Wayne Pump in Fort Wayne before moving to Mix Mill to be their Materials Manager. He became Vice President of Operations at Modern Mill followed by working for Bluffton Agri-Industrial Corp (formerly Blount). Rich retired from Passages, Inc. as a business developer.
On February 14, 1960, Rich married his Valentine, Arlene Frauhiger, in Bluffton. They shared 62 years of marriage.
Rich is survived by his wife, Arlene, and his children; Craig L. Stoller of Fishers, Shari L. (Chris) Pfister of Berne and Clark L. (Michele) Stoller of Bluffton and 10 grandchildren; Nikole Stoller, Kristyn Stoller, Kyle Pfister, Karli Pfister, Clay (Maddy) Pfister, Trace Pfister, Josie Pfister, Michael Stoller, Caleb Stoller and Calvin Stoller. He is also survived by his sister Marian Yoder of Nappanee and a sister-in-law, Marcia Stoller of Clearwater, Fla.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Ruth Wuethrich and his brother, Lester Stoller.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at the Thoma/Rich, Lemler Funeral Home in Bluffton and for one hour prior to the service at the church. Funeral services will take place at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at the Bluffton North Apostolic Church in Bluffton, with Ken Wuethrich of Indianapolis and Ryan Bertsch of Bluffton officiating. Burial will follow at Apostolic Christian Cemetery in Adams County.
In Lieu of flowers and gifts, the family prefers memorials be made to the Wells County Youth for Christ.
