Tuesday, 8:14 a.m., Inteva, 1805 W. Lancaster St. Officer’s presence requested while a human resource employee at the plant spoke with an employee who is known to carry a handgun.

Monday, 2:20 p.m., Walmart parking lot, 2100 N. Main St. Amanda L. Hartnett, 38, Bluffton, was driving a 2009 Nissan Quest into a parking space and clipped a parked 2004 Chevrolet registered to Patricia L. Dobson, rural Bluffton. Damage estimated at less than $1,000.

Monday, 5:38 p.m., Ind. 1 south of 700N. Trisha J. Hale, 35, rural Ossian, was driving a 2015 Chrysler Town & Country van south on Ind. 1. She slowed to a stop to wait for oncoming traffic to clear so she could make a left turn into her driveway. Dylan M. Markley, 28, Bluffton, was also driving south on Ind. 1 in a 2013 Honda Accord. He realized too late the van was stopped and crashed into the rear of it. Markley suffered a wrist and chest injury in the crash and was taken by Wells County EMS to Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. Hale was checked by medics at the scene but declined transport to the hospital. Damage exceeded $10,000. Ossian Fire Rescue was also dispatched to the scene. The crash closed down Ind. 1 to through traffic for close to an hour.

Ossian:

Monday, 7:30 a.m., Jefferson Street at the entrance to the Dollar General Store north of Davis Road. Pearl M. Oaks, 67, Ossian, was northbound had slowed her 2018 Nissan Altima to make a left turn into Dollar General. Jacob T. Gerber, 28, Ossian, said Oaks off to the far right, at the beginning of the turn blister for Dehner Drive, and started to turn left into his lane of travel. Oaks denied that assertion and said she might have made a wide turn, but a witness backed up Gerber’s statement. Gerber, in his 2012 Chevrolet Impala was unable to avoid a collision. The Altima spun around about 190 degrees and come to a rest in the grassy area between the road and the Dollar General parking lot. The Impala veered off the road, crossed the lawn of the First Baptist Church and came to a stop in the church’s parking lot. Neither driver was injured. Damage exceeded $10,000.

ARRESTS

Kobi Michael Donnersbach, 23, Bluffton; failure to appear in court, a Level 6 felony. No bond set.

Andres Pablo Lucas, 40, Enterprise, Ala.; operating a motor vehicle while never having been issued a driver’s license a Class C misdemeanor. No bond set.
