The Town of Ossian and the Wells County Commissioners are partnering to build a new “spec” building in the town’s industrial park.

Wells County Economic Development Director Chad Kline said Monday the agreement between the two parties calls for the county to pay up to $250,000 in “interests assistance” over two years, which will come in the form of reimbursements to the town after the payments are made up front by the town.

That reimbursement agreement for the roughly $2.8 million, 30,000 square-foot project was approved by commissioners Michael Vanover and Blake Gerber; Jeff Stringer was absent.
