Thomas I. “Butch” Wilfong, 73, of Huntington, died at his residence at 1:20 a.m. Saturday, March 19, 2022.
Butch was born April 13, 1948, in Marlington, W.V., to Beecher Wilfong and Lenvy Bostic Wilfong. He married Cathie Bayman Sept. 16, 1967, in Huntington. His wife survives.
Also surviving is a daughter, Jennifer (Bob) Woodcox of Huntington; two sons, Jeremiah (Hayley) Wilfong of Roanoke and Jacob (Sammi) Wilfong of Bluffton; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Denver (Alice) Wilfong of Marion and Otis (Sue) Bostic of Ossian.
His parents preceded him in death.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 9, at American Legion Post 85, 1410 S. Jefferson St. in Huntington.
