Preliminary Engineering Report (PER) to obtain assistance from the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) Loan Program
The Town of Markle will hold a public hearing at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at the Markle Town Hall, 154 E. Morse Street, Markle, Indiana 46783. The Town of Markle’s engineering consultant will present the recommended upgrades to the Town of Markle’s drinking water infrastructure, which will include improvements to the water plant and within the distribution system. The project will be funded through a DWSRF loan.
At this hearing, there will be the opportunity for questions and comments from the public. Participation is welcomed and encouraged. If special assistance is required at the meeting, please contact the Town Hall at (260) 358-6604. Copies of the PER are available for public viewing starting September 20, 2024 (10 days prior to the Public Hearing) through October 7, 2024 (5 days following the Public Hearing). Written comments regarding this project should be sent to Mike Grant, Town Manager at 154 E. Morse Street, Markle, Indiana 46770, prior to October 7, 2024.
