Funds to support Scouting

The Anthony Wayne Area Council, BSA received a $3,000 annual grant from the United Way of Wells County for their program “Scouting. Prepared for Life.” during the 2024-2026 grant cycle. In the last 3 months, they have served 110 youths in Wells County. Helping Hands grant

The United Way of Wells County is partnering with Helping Hands who will receive $4,000 over the next two years for the Hand in Hand children’s program. The program provides a safe and positive environment where children enjoy fun-filled activities, developmental and creative play, and age-appropriate learning opportunities that are designed to go Hand-in-Hand with the parents’ programs. The program will serve an average of 40-60 kids, ages 0-15 each week.
