Preliminary Engineering
Report (PER) Addendum No. 1
The City of Bluffton is revising the Preliminary Engineering Report (PER) from an existing State Revolving Loan to include the following item:
The existing storm pipe near Bell Brook Boulevard is failing and has caused sink holes. The City is planning to repair the pipe to prevent any further roadway damage or settling that may affect the adjacent sanitary sewer pipe.
The Department intends to utilize SRF funds to repair the pipe with a structural pipe liner to prevent further pipe damage and failures that result in soil settlements that could result in roadway failures, and other adjacent utility damage that if it fails would impact nearby surface water and groundwater.
The project will be funded through the remaining funds from an existing Wastewater State Revolving Fund loan (SRF Loan No. WW21559004)
