Donovan E. Clark, 69, Bluffton, was sentenced to 730 days in the Indiana Department of Correction with all but two days suspended. The sentence was issued after Clark pled guilty to one count of battery resulting in moderate bodily injury, a Level 6 felony. Clark is also required to serve 545 days on probation and pay court costs and filing fees in the amount of $239 and restitution in the amount of $181.56.

Amanda Ali, 38, Bluffton, was sentenced to 180 days in the Wells County Jail with all but 2 days suspended for disorderly conduct, a Class B misdemeanor. Charges for battery and strangulation, both Level 6 felonies, were dismissed pursuant to a plea agreement. Ali is also required to serve 363 days on probation and pay court costs and filing fees in the amount go $189.

Sequoia Michelle Kennedy, 27, Fort Wayne, appeared in the Wells Superior Court for a hearing to revoke her suspended sentence. In August 2022, Kennedy was sentenced to 730 days in prison with all but 14 days suspended after she pled guilty to one count of battery committed in the presence of a minor, a Level 6 felony. A petition to revoke her suspended sentence was filed in April. Kennedy is not required to serve any of her suspended time, however, has to report to probation for an additional four months.
