The 15th annual 4-H 5K and the Fast & Furriest 1-Mile dog run/walk took place at the 4-H park and downtown Bluffton on Saturday. All proceeds go to the Wells County 4-H Foundation.
Although it was a run/walk option, there were winners for the event as well. The overall winners of the 5K race were Carter Steele and Abby Ramseyer.
Age groups ranging from 14-years-old to 50 and over were also recognized for their efforts in boys’ and girls’ categories along with the three selected dog champions.

Boys 14 and under: Rylan Leas (first), Gavin Biberstine (second) and Lincoln Boxell (third).
Girls 14 and under: Aubree Neuenschwander (first), Marianne Pease (second) and Erin Ramseyer (third).
Boys 15-18: Jarin Frauhiger (first), Colter Kiel (second) and Joshua Bricker (third).
Girls 15-18: Reagan Harris (first), Gracie Reeves (second) and Chanie Mounsey (third).
Men 19-29: Joel Neff (first) and Jesston Heath (second).
Women 19-29: Rachel Bauermeister (first) and Reann Stoppenhagen (second).
Men ages 20-29: Adam Boxell and Brandon Biberstine.
Women 20-29: Jayme Biberstine and Jayde Ketring.
Men ages 40-49: Chris Leas.
Women 40-49: Brenda Rockwell and Kyan Harris.
Women 50 and over: Leah Sills
