Monday, 9:05 p.m., 1200 North 500 West, Bluffton. Caller reported subject threatened to throw the caller’s child down the stairs. Subjects stated there no issues and they did not require officer assistance.
Tuesday, 5:19 a.m., Ind. 1 and East 300 South, Bluffton. Caller reported a car accident with multiple horses.
Tuesday, 5:34 a.m., Ind. 1 and East 300 South, Bluffton. Driver reported they sideswiped a horse running on Ind. 1. Second accident reported.
Ossian:
Monday, 2:58 p.m., Ind. 1 and East 1050 North, Ossian. Report of truck in ditch. Driver advised he ran out of gas. Officer stood by until driver’s arranged help arrived.
ACCIDENTS
County:
Monday, 5:16 a.m., Ind. 1 and East 300 South. Preston Hamilton was driving Northbound on Ind. 1 when he observed two horses in the middle of the roadway. Hamilton attempted to prevent his Kia Sorento from colliding with the horses but was unsuccessful. Both horses died on the scene. Hamilton complained of head pain after the accident. The vehicle was towed by Freeman’s and both horses were removed from the road by
Pemberton’s.
ARRESTS
Jason Oliver Juillerat, 43, Ossian, intimidation, a Level 5 felony, and stalking violations, a Level 6 felony. No bond set.
Rafael Jose, 24, Bluffton, theft — purse snatching, a Class A misdemeanor. Bond set at $1,500.
