Thursday, 3:32 p.m., 900 block of South Morgan Street. Caller reported a dog in a kennel all the time between two garages barking and biting at the cage. Dog was found to be healthy and uninjured with food, water, and a lead.
Thursday, 4:58 p.m., 600 block of North Main Street. Report of a homeless man in the woods behind the caller’s house, requested officers to check the area.
Thursday, 5:15 p.m., 800 block of Eastmoor Drive. Caller reported they received information a possible wanted subject was at this location. No one was located.
Thursday, 5:34 p.m., Save On Liquor. Report of verbal dispute.
Thursday, 5:41 p.m., Wells Community Boys and Girls Club. Report of an abandoned vehicle. Voicemail left with registered owner.
Thursday, 6:50 p.m., Bluffton Regional Medical Center. Officer assisted subject with retrieving the item from the jail and returning to hospital.

Thursday, 3:28 p.m., Wells County Jail. Warrant served to Avery Bodwell.
Ossian:
Thursday, 3:19 p.m., 5400 North Ind. 1, Ossian. Report that someone used caller’s information to open a Verizon phone account.
Thursday, 10:18 p.m., East 1200 North and Ind. 1, Ossian. Report of a possible road rage incident involving a tan truck and a dark colored Tahoe.
ARRESTS
Avery Dean Bodwell, 33, Ossian, sex offender registration violation, a Level 6 felony. Bond set at $10,000.
Eric C Sheets, 59, Fort Wayne, possession of firearm by domestic battery, a Class A misdemeanor.
