Thursday, 8:22 p.m., Wells County Jail. Jail requested officer assistance to get combative subject to come inside.

Thursday, 11:07 p.m., 700 South Williams Street. Caller reported neighbor using power tools. Ongoing issue. No noise ordinance upon arrival.

Friday, 6:54 a.m., South Wayne and East Spring streets. Driver cited for speeding and no insurance.

Friday, 8:05 a.m., Lancaster Elementary School. Report of possible fighting incident.

Friday, 8:51 a.m., Peytons Northern. Report of semi driver blocking exit.

Friday, 10:01 a.m., 300 block of Lancaster Street. Caller reported that their vehicle was egged.

Ossian: 

Thursday, 1:53 p.m., Ind. 1 and East 1100 North, Ossian. Report of a red car in ditch. Car was no longer there.

Thursday, 4:42 p.m., North 100 East and East 1200 North, Ossian. Report of vehicle striking pole. Juvenile was driving, EMS contacted for bruising.

Thursday, 8:02 p.m., 11000 East 800 North, Ossian. Caller reported subject walking through property. Subject advised they were looking for loose livestock.

Friday, 1:16 a.m., Bittersweet Lane and Hollyhock Avenue, Ossian. Vehicle pulled over for registered owner being suspended. Driver was anxious young juvenile with no license. Spoke with guardian and was released to go home.

Friday, 7:25 a.m., North 100 East and Ind. 224, Ossian. Driver cited for speed.

Thursday, 3:38 p.m., Silo Farms. Welfare check requested for subject.

Friday, 1:39 a.m., 2800 East 250 North, Bluffton. Report of elderly woman walking around outside confused. Woman’s family advised she has dementia and does not want to wear anything around her neck or wrists to help like Life Alert. Looking for solution to help her.

Friday, 7:19 a.m., Ind. 218 and Ind. 1, Bluffton. Officer provided subjects with lug wrench to tighten loose lug nuts on a wheel.

Friday, 7:28 a.m., 8000 South 200 West, Poneto. Report of an abandoned vehicle that appears to have crashed.

Friday, 10:42 a.m., Wells County Jail. Served warrant without incident.

ACCIDENTS

Wednesday, 7:50 a.m., Ind 1 and Capri Court. Beth Garrison was stopped behind Samantha Bonn at a red light at the intersection. When the light turned green, Garrison proceeded forward and the front end of her Chevy Cruz collided with the rear bumper of Bonn’s Ford Escape. Damages estimated at $5,000.

Wednesday, 3:10 p.m., Main and Market streets. Maurice Engehardt reported that Steven Wolf drove around a semi truck, then in front of another semi truck, and into the path of Englehardts Jeep Wrangler. Wolf’s Pontiac Torrent collided with the passenger side of Englehardt’s vehicle, which was towed due to damage to the door. Wolf was reportedly dazed and confused. Damages not exceeding $10,000.

ARRESTS

Carson Taylor Smithley, 20, Markle, was arrested for distribution of an intimiate image – revenge porn, a Class A misdemeanor. No Bond set.

Elena Marie Gallardo, 20, Liberty Center, was arrested for battery, a Class B misdemeanor. No bond set.

Diana Katherine Humphrey, 38, Indianapolis, was arrested on a court order for a probation violation.

Shiann Moona Wisniewski, 24, Montpelier, was arrested for theft, a Class A misdemeanor. Bond set at $6,000.

Billy Gene Patterson, 69, Ossian, was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, a Class A misdemeanor. Bond set at $1,500.
