Wednesday, 3:29 p.m., KOA Campground. Assisted county with welfare check.

Wednesday, 3:48 p.m., 200 block of East Market Street. Officer transported subject to the jail.

Wednesday, 4:22 p.m., 600 block of Jersey Street. Caller reported a yellow car hitting a sign.

Wednesday, 7:16 p.m., 100 block of East Ohio Street. Juvenile shut out of house by other family juveniles. Family is handling the situation.

Wednesday, 9:40 p.m., 5600 West 800 South. Report of a video of a fight that took place a while ago. No one involved reported the fight.

Wednesday, 9:43 p.m., Peytons Northern Distribution Center. Man in his 20s crushed his hand in a machine. Paramedics called.

Wednesday, 9:59 p.m., 800 block of Lancaster Street. Caller reported loud music coming from out back. Subjects advised they would turn it down.

Thursday, 1:47 a.m., 1200 block of Hollyhock Lane. Caller reported harassment via text message; officer informed caller about protection orders and blocking.

Thursday, 9:20 a.m., Save On Liquor North. Wallet found.

County:

Wednesday, 12:11 p.m., Ouabache State Park. Minor was believed to be drinking alcohol. A deputy found multiple subjects drinking and intoxicated at the location. Abraham Lau Portillo, 19, Indianapolis, was passed out and covered in vomit. When he woke up, Portillo’s eyes were bloodshot and watery. Portillo gave his birthday, which identified him as 19, and admitted to drinking. Medics arrived and advised Portillo was OK. A portable breath test returned at 0.198. He was arrested for public intoxication, a Class B misdemeanor, and consuming an alcoholic beverage as a minor, a Class C misdemeanor. Bond set at $1,500. The vehicle and individuals left at the park’s request.

Thursday, 6:22 a.m., west U.S. 224 and north Main Street, Uniondale. Semi had broken down in the westbound lane just west of CR 100W. Deputies assisted with traffic control while the trailer was unhooked and attached to another tractor.

Thursday, 9:07 a.m., residence on 600N, Uniondale. Woman reported a Facebook scam had received her driver’s license information.

Thursday, 12:03 a.m., Ossian BP. Citation issued for 36 in a 25 mph zone. 

Thursday, 9:16 a.m., residence on 700N. Report taken about trespassing and fuel theft. 

ACCIDENTS

City:

Sunday, 1:29 a.m., South Marion Street. Peggy Meekin was backing her Chevy Malibu out of her driveway and collided with a parked and unattended Chevy Trailblazer. Damages not exceeding $5,000.

Wednesday, 4:09 p.m., 600 block of West Ohio Street. Jodi Arnold was turning southbound from Wiley Avenue. Arnold advised she is diabetic and became lightheaded and doesn’t remember where she hit something. Arnold’s Chevy Spark collided with a no parking sign in between Wiley and Ohio streets and continued southbound through the sign, colliding with a fence. Damages not exceeding $5,000.

Wednesday, 3:03 p.m., East Arnold and South Bennett streets. Elizabeth Fox was reversing from her driveway when her Subaru Outback collided with a parked Cadillac CTS. Minimal damages not exceeding $2,500.

ARRESTS

Raymond Castillo III, 19, Portland; criminal trespassing, a Class A misdemeanor. 

Rodney Dean Hensley, 56, Portland; theft, a Class A misdemeanor. Bond set at $3,000. 

Joel Anthony Michael Huerta, 35, Fort Wayne; probation violation, a Class A misdemeanor, and invasion of privacy, a Class A misdemeanor.
