Tuesday, 7:19 p.m., Walmart. Report of a man possible following an individual and their daughter.
Wednesday, 12:52 a.m., north Main Street and Capri Court. Traffic stop. On detained. Jeremy Dewayne Baker, 31, Pierceton, Ind was arrested for making false identity statement, a Class misdemeanor, and habitual traffic violator, a Level 6 felony. Bond set at $6,500.
Tuesday, 6:29 a.m., residence on north Main Street. Report of an intoxicated man sleeping in a residence front yard. Man issued a warning for trespassing.
Tuesday, 7:15 a.m., Walmart. Two semis parked. Officer made contact with one driver, who advised he was leaving.
Tuesday, 11:02 a.m., CoCo China Buffet. Vehicle rear-ended. No information on who hit the vehicle. Report to follow.

ACCIDENTS

Tuesday, 4:46 p.m., Ind. 1 at the intersection of Cherry Street. Gregory K. Meyer, 67, Ossian, was traveling southbound on Ind. 1 in a 2019 Lincoln MKZ and, as he approached the intersection at Cherry Street, collided with the vehicle traveling in front of his, a 2009 Saturn Vue SUV driven by William L. Fair, 83, Bluffton. Meyer had been following too closely when Fair hit the breaks hard due to the two vehicles stopped ahead of his. Fair’s vehicle was then pushed into a 2009 Toyota Camry driven by Kent B. Sprunger, 76, Bluffton, which pushed into the first car at the intersection, a 2007 Toyota Carolla driven by Paul E. Heavilin, 69, Bluffton. Both Meyer’s and Fair’s vehicles were towed by Freeman’s. Damage exceeded $10,000.
Tuesday, 5:21 p.m., Ind. 116. Jarin L. Tucker, 38, Poneto, was driving a 2011 Ford Flex southbound on 450E and stopped at the intersection of Ind. 116, but failed to see a westbound 2012 Chevrolet Malibu driven by Kyler A. Bagley 16, Bluffton. Both vehicles were towed by Pemberton’s. Damage exceeded $10,000.

Tuesday, 5:44 p.m., south 500E, Bluffton. Adrienne J. Isch, 26, Decatur, was driving a 2017 Subaru Legacy southbound when a dog ran across the roadway and she was unable to avoid a collision. The dog owner was not home at the time of the collision. Damage exceeded $1,000.
