The tennis courts next to Bluffton Middle School are getting a makeover this summer. The project includes a remake of the playing surface along with four more courts added to make 10 total. The remake comes after the Tigers varsity tennis team won its first conference championship since 2008. The plans also include a remodel of the parking lot in an effort to create a safer environment for people to walk in and efficient traffic control. Bids were awarded to 1st Brooks Construction last May, and the project began in June of this year, according to Bluffton Superintendent Dr. Brad Yates. (Photos by Ryan Walker)
