Smith is the former chief meteorologist for Channel 21 in Fort Wayne. He is now the chief marketing and communications officer for Lasting Change Inc., a supporting organization that provides business services for Christian non-profit counseling companies Lifeline, Crosswinds, Pierceton Woods Academy, Spencer Home and Wheatfield Academy.
