Friday, 10:06 p.m., 1000 block of Clark Avenue. Report of woman driving past home repeatedly. Advised to obtain a protective order.

Saturday, 11:41 a.m., Walgreens. To Catch A Predator out with man who allegedly arrived to meet child for sex. The man was detained. Further details to follow.

Saturday, 1:39 p.m., 1000 block of North William Wells Circle. Report of person trespassing. Person advised ponds were private property,

Saturday, 5:10 p.m., Stag Bar. Man was asked to leave, refused ride home.

Saturday, 7:26 p.m., Walmart. To Catch A Predator out with a 42-year-old man, Jeremy Black, who allegedly believed he was meeting a 13-year-old boy. He was arrested for child solicitation. Further details to follow.

Saturday, 10:15 p.m., Wings, etc. Man walking, stated he did not want to drive intoxicated. Advised to stay out of the roadway.

Sunday, 7:00 a.m., Walmart. Report of semis in parking lot. Woke drivers and asked to leave.

Sunday, 12:57 p.m., corner of West Miller and North Morgan streets. Caller reported loud music from nearby.

Sunday, 1:18 p.m., Budget Inn. Report of male and female in physical altercation.

Sunday, 5:14, 200 block of Fieldcrest Drive. Woman requested assistance lifting husband, two officers assisted.

Sunday, 8:45 p.m., 1000 block of West Shore Drive. Report of teenagers fishing, had been warned previously. Advised to leave.

Monday, 8:08 a.m., 300 block of North Oak Street. Caller reported items stolen from car overnight.

Monday, 9:35 a.m., 300 block of West Miller Street. Report of camping tent stolen from yard.

Monday, 9:10 a.m., 900 block of South Indiana Street. Report of vandalism to car overnight.

Friday, 3:19 p.m., east River Road and south 450E, Bluffton. Vehicle overheating. Provided transport to driver’s work. 

Friday 9:59 p.m., 3998E 200S, Bluffton. Donkeys in the roadway. 

Saturday, 1:58 a.m., residence on 400W, Poneto. Mailbox struck. Possibly other houses with vandalized mailboxes. Unable to locate the vehicle involved. 

Saturday, 5:23 a.m., north Ind. 1 and east 350N. Citation issued for speeding. 

Saturday, 11:24 a.m., north Ind. 1 and east 1100N. Semi driving with no trailer brake lights. 

Saturday, 12:14 p.m., southeast Mulberry and southwest Poplar Street. Report of a large discarded drum covered in flies. A dead animal was found inside. 

Satruday, 1:29 p.m., residence on Countryside Drive, Markle. Verbal altercation. 

Saturday, 3:10 p.m., north Ind. 1 and east 700N. Vehicle observed pulled over with hazard lights and a woman walking beside it. The driver and woman advised they had gotten into a verbal altercation. Deputy gave a courtesy transport to the woman.

Saturday, 5:02 p.m., residence on 900S, Poneto. Report of stolen carburetor. Callers did not want to press charges, but wanted money for the carburetor. The suspect apologized and paid them. 

Saturday, 5:38 p.m., 3191S Main St., Liberty Center. Tree in the roadway. Highway Department notified. 

Saturday, 7:08 p.m., west 900S and south 100W. Tree in the roadway. Highway Department notified. 

Sunday, 11:05 a.m., residence on Lakeside Drive, Blffton. Verbal dispute between neighbors. 

Sunday, 1:42 p.m., residence on Hoosier Highway, Bluffton. Possibly missing gun. 

Sunday, 3:28 p.m., south Ind. 1 and east 800S. Moped with no registration. Pemberton’s towed the vehicle. Transport provided to the driver. Driver cited for no valid license and no insurance. 

Sunday, 4:50 p.m., south Hoosier Highway and south Meridian Road. Trailer abandoned in the middle of the roadway. No registration on the trailer. Wyatt’s towed the trailer. 

Sunday, 6:33 p.m., south 600W and west 1100S. Fallen tree hanging over the roadway. Highway Department contacted.

Friday, 8:42 p.m., possible battery. Suspect left the scene. 

Saturday, 7:21 p.m., Norwell High School. Individual observed sitting in a vehicle in the parking lot. Driver advised he was OK and just wanted to get out of the house. 

Sunday, 12:05 a.m., residence on 500E. Report of gunshots. Unable to locate. 

Sunday, 12:08 a.m., residence on 450E. Report of a loud revving engine. Unable to locate. 

Sunday, 6:48 p.m., residence on 750E. Report of a damaged mailbox. Believed the incident occured the day prior.

Sunday, 7:49 p.m., residence on Miller Street, Uniondale. Report of possible theft. 

Sunday, 9:46 p.m., 9120N 150E. Report of a suspicious car parked on the road. Driver advised they stopped to look at “strawberry moon” and eat strawberry cake.

FIRES

Saturday, 7:13 a.m., West 300 South and South 100 West. Report of bale of hay in field smoldering.

Saturday, 5:41 p.m., near 3500 West 500 South, Fire reported and under control approx 42 minutes later.

ACCIDENTS

City:

Thursday, 10:08 a.m., Highway 116 and 100 North. Elizabeth Leamon was at the stop sign at the intersection behind a semi truck and trailer. The semi pulled forward and then stopped. Leamon failed to stop in time and collided with the rear end of the trailer. The semi, owned by First Fleet, then drove away. Minor damages estimated at $2,501-$5,000.

Thursday, 6:47 p.m., Kroger. Owner of a Red Chevy Silverado noticed damage to the side of his truck when leaving the store. Video footage did not reveal any leads due to quality.

Friday, 7:50 a.m., S.R. 1 and Highway 116. Michelle Morales was slowing to a stop at the intersection when Luke Baker’s front end collided with her rear end. Baker did not note any new damage. Morales noted minor damage. Damages estimated at $2,501-$5,000.

Friday, 12:05 p.m., Kroger. Kim Crouse and Ronnie Williams were backing out of their respective parking spots when they collided. Minor damages, no injuries reported.

Sunday, 11:38 a.m., Wendy’s. Amanda Burns said she was entering the parking lot and a vehicle backed out of the stall into the front corner of her vehicle. The driver then drove away quickly, however, Burns reported the license plate number. Officers found the plate to belong to Jamie Elzroth, who has been unreachable at this time.

County:

Monday, 7:49 a.m., Ind. 116 near 300W, Markle. Seth Mayer, 42, Bluffton, was driving a 2017 Ford Transit van westbound on Ind. 116 and struck a deer. Damage exceeded $2,500.

Echo Nekkol-Ann Staker, 20, Bluffton; operating a vehicle without ever receiving a license, a Class C misdemeanor. Bond set at $500.

Bruce Allen Murray, 55, Bluffton; failure to appear, a Level 6 felony. Bond set a $5,000. 

Alejandro Eli Mayor Ruiz, 22, Fort Wayne; operating a vehicle without ever receiving a license, a Class C misdemeanor. Bond set at $1,000. 

Macz Xuc Alvaro, 43, Fort Wayne; operating a vehicle without ever receiving a license, a Class C misdemeanor. Booked and released. 

Austin Travis Wayne Phillips, 42, Bluffton; child solicitation, a Level 4 felony. Bond set at $10,000.

Jeremy Ryan Back, 42, Sunman, Ind.; child solicitation, a Level 4 felony. 

Stephen Patrick Butt, 31, French Lick; intimidation, a Level 6 felony. Bond set at $5,000.
