Ozzie Kay Shumate, 4 months, of Bluffton, died at 4:10 a.m. Sunday, May 28, 2023, at Wayne HealthCare in Greenville, Ohio. She was born Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2023, in Fort Wayne to Jared Kenneth Shumate and Chelsey Lynn Southard.
She is survived by her parents; sister, Alice Southard; grandparents; great-grandparents; aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her aunt, Dallas Shumate; great-grandfather, Tom Bailey; cousin, Lillian Lloyd; and an uncle, Chad Bailey.
Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Downing & Glancy Funeral Home 100 N Washington Street Geneva on Friday, June 2, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. A service to celebrate her life will follow at 2:00 p.m.
