A Bluffton man’s body was recovered from a local pond Thursday evening.
By Friday afternoon, the body was identified as Shane Bailey, 53, Bluffton.
In a press release on Friday, Bluffton Police Chief Kyle Randall said the Bluffton Police Department received a report of a possible body in the 700 block of North Main Street at approximately 7:12 p.m. on Thursday. There were no immediate signs of foul play.
The investigation is still ongoing.
The Bluffton Fire Department, Wells County EMS, Indiana Department of Natural Resources, and Wells County Coroner’s Officer assisted in the report.
