Tuesday, 2:30 p.m., Shideler Chiropractic. Comcast running a line on Main street and requesting traffic control.
Tuesday, 2:49 p.m., residence on West Miller Street. Caller reported noises were coming from the garage and saw a subject prior to calling police. Report to follow.
Tuesday, 4:47 p.m., Bluffton Police Department. Mother requested a 72 hour hold for their juvenile who was mentally unstable and acting violent.
Tuesday, 6:54 p.m., Bluffton Fire Department. Phone found on West Wabash around 3 p.m.
Tuesday, 6:58 p.m., West Wabash and North Johnson Streets. Two juveniles fighting. Caller reported there had been threats of using a gun but was unsure if there was one on scene.
Tuesday, 8:26 p.m., Connecting Center. Group of juveniles causing a disturbance with residence. Juveniles were found to be playing tag.
Tuesday, 9:18 p.m., Praxis. Woman walked away from treatment center. Enroute back to Praxis at 9:37 p.m.
Wednesday, 1:06 a.m., 605 N Main St. Driver arrested for driving while suspended prior.
Wednesday, 2:40 a.m., North 100E and East 100N. Citation issued for driving without insurance.
Wednesday, 5:16 a.m., North Main Street and South Sutton Circle Drive. Driver followed behind patrol car too closely. Officer conducted traffic stop and explained following too closely is a safety issue.
Wednesday, 7:59 a.m., Bluffton High School. Citation issued for speeding.
Wednesday, 8:36 a.m., North Main Street and Willowbrook Trail. Found wallet.
Wednesday, 11:26 a.m., 1219 W Central Ave. Found scooter or broken bicycle.

Monday, 4:26 p.m., Southern Wells Schools. Driver’s child opened the rear passenger door of the vehicle and the wind caused it to strike another vehicle. Parties exchanged information.
Monday, 8:26 p.m., residence on 800S, Bluffton. Request for standby during a property retrieval.
Tuesday, 12:24 p.m., Ind. 218 and 300W. Citation issued for speeding.
Tuesday, 8:42 p.m., U.S. 224 and 600E. Citation issued for 65 in a 55 mph zone.
Wednesday, 12:11 a.m., First Fleet, Bluffton. Heavy machinery fell on top of male subject. Bluffton Fire Department and law enforcement responded to help free the individual.
Ossian:
Monday, 4:26 p.m., residence on 800N. Deputy arrived for a paper service. When knocking, the door opened. The homeowner answered a call and stated their child was home from school.
Tuesday, 12:51 p.m., residence on Melching Court. Possible overdose.
Tuesday, 2:46 p.m., Norwell High School. Citation issued for speeding.
ACCIDENTS

Friday, 6:50 a.m., 1805 Lancaster Street. Joseph P. McGuigan, 18, Ossian, was driving a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado and backed into a parked 2004 Chevrolet Suburban. McGuigan then checked the vehicles for damage and continued into work. McGuigan made no efforts to contact the police or the owner of the Suburban. The Suburban’s owner reported the damage to their vehicle and video surveillance later confirmed this series of events. McGuigan was located to give insurance information after several phone calls. It was also explained the implications of leaving the scene of an accident without contacting the owner or police. Damage exceeded $1,000.
Tuesday, 8:06 p.m., Silver Street at the intersection of Oak Street. Marcus R. Gerber, 27, Palmer, Ark., was driving a 2012 Chrysler Town and Country van and did not see a 2022 Ram 1500 pick-up truck driven by Chandler T. Gerber, 33, Bluffton, while attempting to turn eastbound on Silver Street. The van struck the truck on the rear side quarter, causing minor damage. Chandler Gerber advised he swerved to avoid collision with van, but hit the curb, also causing damage to his front and rear passenger side wheels. Damage exceeded $1,000.

Monday, 9:38 p.m., West Division Road at the intersection of North 300W, Rockford. Salko Agic, 66, Macomb, Mich., was driving a 2004 Volvo VNL truck westbound on Ind. 124 and, when he realized he missed his turn, came to a stop and attempted to turn around. Agic drove the truck partially through the grass and the trailer collided with a stop sign. A witness confirmed this account. Damage exceeded $2,500.
Tuesday, 8:43 a.m., U.S. 224, Markle. Emmanuelle Torres Gomez, 39, Atwater, Calif., was driving a 2018 Freightliner Cascadia westbound on U.S. 224 when a deer entered the roadway and he was unable to avoid collision. Damage exceeded $1,000.
FIRES
Tuesday, 9:21 p.m., Praxis. Fire alarm. Evacuation in progress at 9:27 p.m. Bluffton Fire Department responded. Building cleared. No fire found at 9:34 p.m.
ARRESTS
Malvern Guadalupe Bozarth, 19, Bluffton; probation violation, a Level 6 felony. No bond set.
Erik M. Castro, 50, Fort Wayne; driving while suspended with a prior suspension within 10 years, a Class A misdemeanor. Booked and released.
