Janna G. Bond, 57 of Ossian passed away on Saturday morning, April 15, 2023, at her residence.
Janna was born Dec. 12, 1965 in Tulsa, Okla. to Ed and Alice (Heiser) Holt.
She was the manager of the Vision Center at Walmart. She worked for Walmart for 24 years, many of those years at the Apple Glen store. Janna had a green thumb when it came to growing plants. She loved to cook. She was a loving grandma to her grandchildren.
On Sept. 10, 2010, Janna and James E. Bond were married in Decatur. Together they shared many years of memories.
She is survived by her husband, James of Ossian; her children, Corey (Jessica) Power of Fort Wayne, Stuart (Stephanie) Power of Broken Arrow, Okla., Jason Bond, and Lisa (Mike) Hamblin all of Fort Wayne. She was a loving grandma to her seven grandchildren, Eldin Alan Reece Power, Wrenley Joyce Power, Sawyer Wayne Power, Spencer Marie Power, Jacob and Mason Bond, and Preston Hamblin.
Janna is also survived by her parents; Ed Holt of Tulsa, Okla. and Alice Holt of Bluffton; a sister, Tonya (Don) Torre of Muskogee, Okla.; and her step-brothers, Cody Holt of Bluffton and Donovan Holt of San Diego, Calif., along with her two yorkies, Gracie and Winnie.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at 4 p.m. at the Thoma/Rich, Lemler Funeral Home in Bluffton with Jim Steele officiating.
Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., before the service on Saturday.
Memorials may be made in Janna’s memory to the charity of the donor’s choice.
