Tuesday, 4:26 a.m., Dollar General Store, 1311 S. Main St. Report that a woman shoplifted items from the store and walked out. Bluffton police officers responded and located the woman at the intersection of Main and Horton streets. The woman reportedly refused to identify herself and walked away from officers. Officers followed her to the Pak-A-Sak convenience store, 904 S. Main St., and arrested her for refusal to identify self while stopped for an infraction or ordinance violation, a Class C misdemeanor; theft, a Class A misdemeanor; and disorderly conduct, a Class B misdemeanor. Bond set at $3,000.
Tuesday, 6:40 p.m., woman came to the Bluffton Police Department to report being photographed by a fat man with a long-lens camera in a pickup truck and it made her feel uneasy.
Tuesday, 7:51 p.m., residence in the 800 block of West Market Street. Bicycle stolen.
Tuesday, 8:08 p.m., residence in the 900 block of North Morgan Street. Caller reported someone knocked on a south side window of her residence and then left the area. Officer checked the area but the only people he saw walking were juveniles who denied knocking on the woman’s window.
Wednesday, Airplane Express Service convenience store, 407 N. Main St. Someone dropped a wallet in the parking lot.
Wednesday, 4:39 a.m., Family Farm & Home, 990 N. Main St. Burglar alarm. Officers responded. No sign of foul play found.
Wednesday, 5:30 a.m., Spring Street at Jersey Street. Dead animal in the road creating a traffic hazard. Officer moved the carcass off the road.
Wednesday, 10:34 a.m., Great Clips, 2155 N. Main St. Vehicle became stuck on a large landscaping rock.
Wednesday, 12:37 p.m., Praxis substance abuse treatment facility, 1529 W. Lancaster St. Patient dismissed from the facility reported car keys stolen.
County:
Tuesday, 2:02 p.m., Clean Fuels of Indiana, 4620E-900S. Report that a former employee stole nearly $17,000 from the company using a company credit card. Incident remains under investigation.
Tuesday, 8:17 p.m., residence on West Street in Tocsin. Deputy arrested Todd Lee Myers, 41, of that address for invasion of privacy, a Level 6 felony. Bond set at $50,000.

Tuesday, 7:43 p.m., Wells County 4-H Park, 1240 4-H Road. Bluffton Fire Department dispatched to set up a landing zone for the Lutheran Air helicopter making a transfer from Bluffton Regional Medical Center to another hospital.
Wednesday, 5:52 a.m. and 6:36 a.m., First Presbyterian Church, 215 E. Dustman Rd. Fire alarms. Bluffton Fire Department dispatched.
Wednesday, 8:12 a.m., Dedrick and Sons Tool & Die, 2929E-Ind. 124. Pine tree behind the business struck by lightning. Bluffton Fire Department dispatched.
