A Bluffton man was killed when the van he was driving slammed into the rear of a skid loader Sunday morning.
Christopher Plew, 60, died at the scene of the 6 a.m. crash on Ind. 124 near 500E.
Plew was driving a GMC Savanna 15-passenger van east on Ind. 124 when he came up quickly behind the 2022 Gehl tracked skid steer driven by Neftali Roman Carvajal, 26, of Bluffton. Carvajal was critically injured in the crash and was rushed by Wells County EMS to Lutheran Hospital In Fort Wayne.
There was no estimate of damages.
Bluffton Fire Rescue was also dispatched to the scene.
