Ossian Rotary will hear a presentation by Lisa Lynn Rush Greer, about what it’s like to drive a snowplow for the Indiana Department of Transportation.

Lisa Greer

Born and raised in Ossian, Greer has been married for 20 years and has two daughters and recently welcomed her first granddaughter.

Greer has an associate’s degree in construction and landscape, and was employed as a landscaper and advanced master gardener for more than 20 years. When she retired from the landscaping business five years ago, Greer began working for Indiana Department of Transportation and is currently serving as a crew leader and snowplow operator.

She enjoys spending time with family, camping and driving her Jeep. But this Thursday morning at 7:30 at the First Baptist Church of Ossian at 1001 Dehner Drive, she will be describing what it’s like to drive a snowplow…unless there is a snowstorm and she is working the roads of Wells County.
