Roscoe A. Ross, 84, of Montpelier, died at 12:50 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2022, at IU Health Blackford Hospital in Hartford City.
He was born Tuesday, Feb. 1, 1938, in Roll, to Homer Ross and Florence Ethel Miller Ross. His parents preceded him in death. He married Janet A. Brokaw July 19, 1959. His wife survives.
Also surviving are a son, Allen Douglas Ross of Montpelier, and a daughter, Linda Kay (Tom) Gadberry of Marion.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six sisters, Joan Glancy, Helen Ross, Ruth Whetzel, Rachael Shelton, Irene James, and Thelma Thomas; and four brothers, Dale Ross, Everett Ross, Kenneth Ross, and Jack Ross.
Calling will be from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 31, at the Walker & Glancy Funeral Home, 109 W. Windsor St. in Montpelier. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Montpelier.
