Black Forest
This site is in Fort Wayne at 1720 Wallen Road with hours being Thursdays, 7 to 9 p.m.; Fridays and Saturdays, 7 to 11 p.m.; and Sundays, 7 to 9 p.m. through Oct. 31. Admission is $12 for each haunt or $20 for a combo ticket. Info at HauntedCastle.com
Combat Ops Paranormal
This event is at 703 Ley Road in Fort Wayne. Hours are from noon to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, noon to 11 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, and noon to 8 p.m. Sunday. Check costs at CombatOps.com
Hysterium
Another haunted site is at 4410 Arden Ave. in Fort Wayne. Hours are 7 p.m. to midnight on Fridays and Saturday and 7 to 10 p.m. on Oct. 27 and 31. Admission is $17. For info go to Hysterium.com.
The Ball Mansion
The former home of the Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home is at 420 W. Wayne St. in Fort Wayne. Tours of the home are on Wednesdays, Saturdays and during special events. Week day tours are $20 and flashlight tours on Saturday are $25. Reservations are needed with info at TheBellMansion.com
Lost Canal &
Haunted Trail
Follow a trail into the woods at the Historic Forks of the Wabash, 3011 W. Park Dr., Huntington. This event is hosted by Boy Scout Troop 130 and is recommended for those ages 12 and older. The Haunted Jail
This will be the 31st season for this experience in Columbia City, 116 E. Market St. Hours are 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 7 to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday through Oct. 21. Admission is $25 and info available at ColumbiaCityHaunted Jail.com
Zombies Alive
You will have to travel a bit farther away for this one in Warsaw at the Kosciiusko County Fairgrounds, 1400 E. Smith St. Hours are 8 to 11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays through Oct. 31. Admission is $10 which includes 100 paintballs and a gun. Info at www.facebook.com/Zombiesalivekoscounty.
