Perry Leon Glancy, 90, of Fort Wayne, died at his home July 31, 2022.
He was born July 15, 1932, to Fred F. Perry Sr. and Sara Lois Lyon Glancy. He married Joan Freestone Sept. 14, 1952; his wife preceded him in death in 1997.
Survivors include his daughters Terry J. (Charles) Wilson of Beverly Hills, Fla., and Holly M. Pieratt of Fort Wayne,; two sons, Perry B. (Dawn) Glancy of Syracuse, Ind., and Drew H. (Amy) Glancy of Yoder; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; a sister, Juanita Hughes of Elkhart, Ind.; and a twin brother, Jerry Glancy of Wichita, Kan.
In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Fred F. Glancy Jr. and Charles Glancy.
Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 11, at the Walker and Glancy Funeral Home in Montpelier and from 10 a.m. to noon Friday, Aug. 12, at the St, Michael Lutheran Church on Getz Road in Fort Wayne. Services will be held at noon Friday, Aug. 12, at the church. Burial will be at the Covington Memorial Gardens in Fort Wayne. Military honors will be conducted at the gravesite.
