Downtown Bluffton will be clogged with vehicles Saturday, Aug. 27, but it won’t be a traffic jam.
The annual Moon Pie Mania car show will take over the downtown area on Saturday, with registration from 8 a.m. to noon and awards presented at 4 p.m. Vintage cars, trucks, and bikes will be on display.
There will be several categories of awards and various games, including a moon pie staking contest and a moon pie eating contest. There will be a moon pie cornhole contest and a Miss Moon Pie will be named.
While Main Street will remain open to traffic, most downtown streets — Market, Johnson, and Marion, among others — will be closed to traffic.
