Lisa F. Frederick, 61, of Bluffton, passed away Saturday morning, Aug. 27, 2022, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.

Lisa was born Oct. 9, 1960, in Hartford City, to James and Ruth Myers Brown. She married Michael M. Frederick Feb. 9, 2000, in Portland; her husband survives.

Lisa attended Norwell High School and worked as a nurse in the nursing home industry until retiring. She was a homemaker from that point on and was a member of the Full Gospel Lighthouse Tabernacle in Dunkirk. She enjoyed fishing, going to garage sales, and going to the Montpelier racetrack, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband, Lisa is survived by two sons, Jeremy A. (Megan) Berry of Liberty Center and Christopher M. (Jennie) Nibarger of Muncie; three daughters, Michelle L. Hurley of Bluffton, Danielle R. (Mike) Barnes of Liberty Center, and Tiffany J. Nibarger (fiancé Clint Szymanski) of Wisconsin; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and a brother, Gary Brown of Bluffton.

Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, James Brown and Herbert Bently, and a sister, Sandra Betterton.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31, at the Goodwin – Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel in Bluffton. A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at 2 p.m., with Rev. Robert Thomas officiating.
