INCIDENTS

Wednesday, 8:43 p.m., residence on 1050S west of 600E. Report of a man and a woman yelling at each other. Sheriff’s deputies dispatched. The couple was not arguing but was busy picking up sticks in the yard.
Wednesday, 10:29 p.m., Norwell High School, 1100E-U.S. 224. Vehicle parked all the way at the back of the baseball diamond parking lot. Sheriff’s deputy thought it suspicious given the time of night it was. Four occupants inside claimed they had pulled off the road because it was loud in their Jeep and they couldn’t talk on their cellphones. They were sent on their way.
Ossian:
Wednesday, 9:40 p.m., residence in the 600 block of Wheatridge Court, Country Meadows housing addition. Deputies served a warrant for arrest on Jared Joe West, 34, Ossian, for violating conditions of bail on original charges of dealing methamphetamine, a Level 4 felony; two counts of possession of methamphetamine, both Level 6 felonies; theft, a Level 6 felony; and possession of drug paraphernalia, a Class C misdemeanor. No bond set.
ACCIDENTS

Wednesday, 11:10 p.m., U.S. 224 at 300W. Evan C. Reynolds, 18, rural Warren, was driving a 2012 Mitsubishi Galant south on 300W. He looked to his left and saw a semi approaching on U.S. 224 but knew he had time to cross the highway. He failed to look right and crashed into an eastbound 2005 Pontiac Bonneville driven by Leaera P. Fisher, 18, rural Decatur. The impact caused both vehicles to spin and end up facing North. The Galant was in the middle of the highway east of the intersection and Bonneville ended up off the south side of U.S. 224 about 50 feet southeast of the Galant. Everyone involved in the crash — including the passengers in Fisher’s vehicle — were checked out by Wells County EMS medics but were not transported to the hospital. Markle Fire Rescue and Uniondale Fire Department first responders were also dispatched to the scene.

Simone Ashli Routen, 32, South Bend; possession of methamphetamine, a Level 6 felony; possession of a Schedule I, II, III, or IV controlled substance, a Class A misdemeanor; possession of drug paraphernalia, a Class C misdemeanor. Bond set at $7,500.
Lee Justin Holley, 37, Bluffton; dealing in marijuana, a Class A misdemeanor, and violating probation, a Class B misdemeanor.
Charlotte Elizabeth Rothgeb, 46, Ossian; probation violation.
Kristi Jean Trinkle, 42, Ossian; possession of a legend drug or precursor, a Level 6 felony; possession of cocaine or some other narcotic drug, a Level 5 felony; possession of methamphetamine, a Level 5 felony; possession of a Schedule I or II controlled substance, a Level 6 felony; and possession of drug paraphernalia, a Class C misdemeanor. Bond set at $50,500.
