There’s big doings going on in Ossian tomorrow evening, Saturday, July 2, and it’s all taking place at Ossian’s Archbold-Wilson Memorial Park.
Starting at 4 p.m. there will be three bounce houses availabl;e for children’s entertainment, two food trucks — Applecart ice cream and Showbiz fish — and a golf cart parade starting at 5:15 p.m. Line up for the parade is in the Bridges subdivision at 4:45 p.m.
Drinks will be served by The Tipsy Ditch.
There’s awards for fan favorite, most patriotic, “big bang,” and best-in-show for the carts.
Then at 10 p.m. there’s fireworks from the sledding hill.
The event is being sponsored by Ossian’s Bridges subdivision.
Other fireworks planned around the area this weekend are at Warren at Tower Park on Sunday at dusk as part of the Salamonie Summer Festival.
The Festival actually kicks off today with events scheduled for today that will include the annual big parade down the middle of town at 7 p.m.
