Waldo Knight, 83, of Warren, died at 5:55 a.m. Friday, Jan. 28, 2022, at Markle Health and Rehabilitation.
Waldo was born Jan. 15, 1939, in Jefferson Township of Huntington County, Mark Charles Knight and Margaret M. Poulson Knight.
Waldo was preceded in death by his parents, Mark and Margaret Knight; a sister, Janet Schmidt; and one great- grandchild.
Loving survivors include his wife of 63 years, Margaret J. Hoch Knight of Warren; children, Terry (Sherry) Knight of Van Buren, Lowell (Karen) Knight of Warren, Denise (Dale) Beck of Van Buren, Stacia (Paul) Henderson of Bluffton, and Korisa (Jeremy) Kreiling of Hot Springs, Ark.; 18 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Carol (William) Byrd of Huntington and Cindy (Tim) Fitch of Warren.
Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 31, at the Warren United Church of Christ, 202 E. 2nd St. in Warren, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 1, at the church. Services will be held at the church at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will follow at the Gardens of Memory near Marion.
