Melissa M. Brubaker, 37, of Bluffton, passed away Friday evening, Jan. 28, 2022, at her residence.
She was born Aug. 29, 1984, in Bluffton, to Timothy W. and Karen E. Hunteman Krinn. Melissa graduated from Norwell High School in 2003 and attended classes at IPFW in Fort Wayne. She loved painting, writing and playing with her children. She will always hold a special place in her Dad and Mom’s hearts and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her parents, Tim and Karen Krinn of Uniondale, along with her two children, Clayton Brubaker of Bluffton and Courtney Brubaker of Uniondale. Also surviving is her brother, Zachery (Allison) Krinn of Ossian, and two nieces, Ruby and Mabel Krinn. She is also survived by her grandfather, John C. Krinn of Bluffton, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Melissa is preceded in death by her grandparents, Rev. Paul R. and Mabel A. Hunteman and Shirley Ann Krinn.
Funeral services will take place at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 2, at the Thoma/Rich, Lemler Funeral Home in Bluffton. Burial will follow at the Horeb Cemetery in Uniondale.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
Memorials may be made to her children’s education fund and checks may be made out to First Merchants Bank.
