Well I have lived long enough to celebrate 88 years of life. I have been blessed with those many years although there has been lots of blessings but still lots of sickness and heartache as we all know in this lifetime.
Robin and I just returned from Myers Funeral Home in Markle to pay tribute to long time rural Zanesville resident Tom Walton. He passed away Oct. 20. He was a great guy.
Annette Wall Best and possibly Peggy Bushee McKeeman, who I do not have a current address for, are the only two still living in the East Union Class of 1946.
For information on what is going on in town and at the three churches, you can get a lot of information on their Facebook pages. I, however, have to rely on daughter Robin to tell me. You can, however, text me with news and dates on my cell phone, 260-417-8982.
I have reported that the Zanesville Lions Library is closed. At the next town meeting I will ask permission to take over the Little Library in front of the Zanesville Town Building and I will put books in it when some are taken out.
