Wells County students share their thoughts for Father’s Day

Whether camping, singing songs or offering encouragement, fathers hold a special spot in every child’s heart.
In celebration of Father’s Day, The News-Banner partnered with three Wells County classrooms before the end of the school year to hear directly from students about their father figures, dads, grandpas, brothers and role models.
The students were asked three questions:
1. What’s your favorite things to do with your dad?
2. What is your dad really good at?
3. What do you love most about your dad?
The following are their heartfelt responses, misspellings, jokes and all.
Multiple students included drawings with their responses in the questionnaire. Above, Jaxson Nusbaumer shows his favorite thing to do with his dad —farm. Below, Knox Stevens demonstrates how he and his dad trade Pokemon cards.

1. My faverite thing to do with my dad is cooking because I like making food with my dad

1. My favorite thing to do with my dad is going swimming because he always flips me behind his back into the water
2. My dad is really good at landscaping because I see him do it and its really beautiful and everyone in my family loves it
3. I love the most with my dad is bikeing in the Owbatche State Park because bikeing is my favorite in trail and my dad too.
