Thursday, 1:58 p.m., bench in the 100 block of South Johnson Street. Sheriff’s deputies served a warrant for arrest on Robert D. Bodenheimer, 42, listed as homeless, on one count of criminal trespass, a Class A misdemeanor, and public indecency/nudity, a Class C misdemeanor. Bond set at $1,000.
Thursday, 5:03 p.m., Eyecare Associates, 980 N. Main St. Report of an belligerent man at the business. He had left but was located at his residence in the Walnut Hills Estates mobile home park and warned for criminal trespassing at the business.
Thursday, 7:41 p.m., Washington Park, 710 S. Mulberry Street. Loud verbal altercation in the street between several people. Officers responded. Situation calmed.
Thursday, 7:59 p.m., Horton Street at Wayne Street. Caller reported seeing a man lying on the ground next to a trash can. Officers responded. No one seen lying anywhere.
Thursday, 9:05 p.m., Inteva, 1805 W. Lancaster St. Fork lift fell out of a semi trailer as the semi was pulling away from the dock. One man suffered a minor head injury. Reported to be up and walking around. Bluffton Fire Department first responders, Wells County EMS and Bluffton Police officers dispatched.
Thursday, 9:57 p.m., apartment in the Pine Grove apartment complex. Report of a domestic battery. Officers responded. Timothy Larson, 22, Bluffton, on charges of domestic battery, a Class A misdemeanor, and disorderly conduct, a Class B misdemeanor. Bond was set at $25,000.
Friday, 1:23 a.m., Main Street at Division Street. Officer pulled over a vehicle and arrested Jared Lee Janing, 28, Three Rivers, Mich., on charges of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, a Class C misdemeanor; operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated endangering a person, a Class A misdemeanor; and operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated with a prior conviction for the same offense, a Level 6 felony. Bond set at $5,000.
Friday, 3:48 a.m., Lowe’s Home Improvement, 2105 N. Main St. Burglar alarm. Officers responded. No sign of foul play found.
Friday, 8:24 a.m., rental house in the 900 block of North Main St. Landlord reported previous tenant stole washer and dryer from the residence.
Friday, 9:21 a.m., 500 block of West Hale Street. Caller reported his mailbox was destroyed.
County:
Thursday, 7:19 p.m., report of people on four-wheeled all-terrain vehicles tearing up the government ground on 400W south of U.S. 224. Deputy located the riders and informed them they could not ride on the government-owned land.
Thursday, 9:18 p.m., residence on 900W south of 800S in Jackson Township. Report of a domestic disturbance. Deputies responded. Male half had left. Information taken for a report.
ACCIDENTS
City:
Thursday, 8:06 p.m., Main Street east of Dustman Road. Dylan D. Eppard, 22, Bluffton, was driving a 2002 Honda CRV north on Main Street. Jenna Stoller, 37, Bluffton, was driving a 2013 GMC Yukon west on Dustman Road. Eppard said his brakes failed and his CRV entered the intersection on a red light, colliding right-angle-style with Stoller’s Yukon causing more than $10,000 damage. Eppard was arrested on one count of operating a vehicle without insurance with a prior conviction for the same offense, a Class C misdemeanor. Released on his own recognizance.
Ossian:
Thursday, 1:27 p.m., Jefferson Street at Industrial Parkway. Low hanging cable television or telephone wire. The wire was hanging so low that vehicles kept hitting it. When a sheriff’s deputy contacted Frontier Communications, they reportedly advised that they would have a worker come out in 24 to 48 hours to fix it. The deputy then contacted REMC which came out and cut the wire.

Dylan Eppard, 23, Bluffton; operating a motor vehicle without insurance, a Class C misdemeanor. Released on his own recognizance.
Kevin Ivan Colon Sr., 47, Fort Wayne; driving while suspended with a prior conviction for the same offense, a Class A misdemeanor, and operating a motor vehicle without insurance, a Class A infraction. Bond set at $1,500.
Earl Wilson Quinn, 51, Bluffton; bail revocation and probation violation. No bond set.
