The Norwell Lady Knights improved to 12-1 on the tennis court Tuesday with a 4-1 home victory over DeKalb.
Norwell won all three singles matches. Aubreyan Heyerly defeated Ella Cruz 6-1, 6-1 in No. 1 singles. McKenna McNabb defeated Sophie Pfister 6-1, 6-3 in No. 2 singles. Addy Heyerly defeated Lauren Blythe 6-2, 6-1 in No. 3 singles.
In No. 1 doubles, Norwell’s Annabelle Johnson and Mackinzie Toliver defeated Maddie Hickman and Kenlee Dick 6-2, 6-3.
DeKalb’s only point came in No. 2 doubles, where Bella Brunson and Evie Pepple defeated Jordan Xayyachack and Sofia Fernandez 6-4, 6-4.
Norwell won the JV match as well by an 8-1 score.
Brooklynn Pine won No. 2 singles 8-1. Gracie Rinkenberger won No. 3 singles 8-0. Ella Krug won No. 3 singles 6-1.
Macy Felger and Becky Sicchiero won No. 1 doubles 8-7(3). Ciera Hiester and Lisa Beckman won No. 2 doubles 8-1. Emma Roembke and Emma Batdorff won No. 3 doubles 6-0. Marlee Wenger and Isabel Isch won No. 4 doubles 6-3. Renee Fraze and Taylor Werling won No. 5 doubles 6-1.
Norwell will head to New Haven on Thursday for its next match.
