Tuesday, 6:37 p.m., 200 block of North Oak Street Extended. Report of an older woman in a silver GMC Terrain sport utility vehicle who appeared to be lost and confused. Officer responded and located the vehicle and the woman. She explained she was trying to drive to the grocery store in Van Buren. She followed a police officer back to the Bluffton Police Department and the woman’s family was contacted.

Tuesday, 11:04 p.m., residence in the 1400 block of McConnell Drive. Report of an unwanted party at the residence. Officers responded. The party left.

Wednesday, 3:22 a.m., officer pulled over a vehicle in the 1300 block of North Main Street. The driver reportedly had an active warrant for his arrest, but the warrant was 33 years old, which would have made the driver 15 years old at the time the warrant was issued. The driver was released and information was taken for a report.

Wednesday, 1:06 a.m. While patrolling Market Street, a sheriff’s deputy spotted a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck that did not have its lights on. The deputy pulled the vehicle over at Oak and Cherry streets. In his report to the court, the deputy observed that the driver, identified as Jade Ryan Studebaker, 28, rural Bluffton, appeared to be intoxicated, smelled of alcohol, failed field sobriety tests and blew a .117 percent alcohol concentration equivalency on a Breathalyzer test. He was charged with two counts of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, both Class C misdemeanors; open alcoholic beverage container during operation of a motor vehicle, no headlights, and an Indiana residence without an Indiana driver’s license, all Class C infractions. Bond was set at $500.

Tuesday, 9:56 p.m., residence on 400E south of Ind. 218. Verbal altercation between a man and a woman. Deputies responded. Parties separated before law enforcement arrived.

Tuesday, 2:28 p.m., 300N west of 100W. Mark Riegle, 55, rural Bluffton, hit a dog with his 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser. The dog was owned by Jonathan Patterson, rural Bluffton. Damage to the car was estimated at less than $1,000. The dog was killed.
