Sharon Jean Pugh, 83, of Ossian, formerly of Bluffton, passed away at 2:12 a.m., on Monday, Sept. 15, 2025.
She was born in Allen County on Dec. 24, 1941, to William Asahel and Martha Elizabeth “Betty” (Crist) Walker. On Oct. 14, 1958, Sharon married Jerry Allen Pugh.
Sharon is survived by her loving husband, Jerry Allen Pugh of Ossian; daughters, Sheila Browning of Royal Center, Stacey (Jay) Alexander of North Manchester, Janna (Scott) Statterthwaite of Huntington and Elizabeth “Beth” (Jay) Knefelkamp of Bluffton; son, Lyle (Alen) Walker-Pugh of Oklahoma; brother, Mike Walker of Lawrence, Kansas; grandchildren, Shellie (Jason) Bettes, Martha (Radek) Barton, Stanley (Tiffany) Allen, Jerry Allen, Aaryn Snyder, Anastacia (Tony) Thompson, Sarah (Todd) Russell, Adam Alexander, Billie Creager, Sharon (Rayce) Newman, Dallas Creager, Ethan Creager, Caleb (Cathy) Pugh and Phillip Pugh; seven step-grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and seven step-great-grandchildren.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, William Asahel and Martha Elizabeth “Betty” (Crist) Walker; granddaughter, Abigail Pugh; and son-in-law, David Browning.
A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 22, 2025, at Markle Cemetery with Pastor Gerald Moreland officiating.
