Sandra “Sandy” Gagle Patterson, 76, passed away peacefully in Decatur, Georgia on July 4.
Born in Portland, Indiana, Sandy was a proud graduate of Bluffton High School in 1966 and Indiana University in 1971, and built a long and dedicated career with GlaxoSmithKline in Tucker, Georgia.
A devoted mother and grandmother, was preceded in death by her husband, Randy Patterson, and her son, Ryan Patterson. Sandy is survived by her son, Randy Patterson, and her beloved grandchildren, Liam and Caitlin Patterson, in Austin, Texas. She is also survived by her brothers, Phil Gagle (wife Cindy) of Bluffton, Indiana and Steve Gagle (wife Vickie) of Decatur.
Sandy was a faithful and longtime member of Decatur First United Methodist Church, where she found fellowship and meaning in her community.
Sandy’s kindness, love, and strength will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
