Walter I. “Walt” Casterline Jr., 75, of Montpelier, passed away Jan. 18, 2024.
He was born on Saturday, July 16, 1949, in Hartford City. He married Brenda F. Turner on June 1, 1974.
He will be forever missed by his children, Jeremy A. Casterline and Jessica L. Casterline, both of Montpelier; and siblings, Nina Gephart, Shianan (Jim) Davis, Karen Fleming, Roxanne Terhune, Charlotte Dawson, Linda (Steve) Horschler, Norm (Debra) Casterline and Warren (Teresa) Casterline.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda F. (Turner) Casterline; parents, Walter I. Casterline, Sr. and Betty J. (Chapman) Casterline-Bell; and siblings, Perry Casterline and Shiela Casterline.
Family and friends may gather from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2025, at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home, 109 W Windsor St. in Montpelier. A service will follow at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Dewey Miller officiating. Interment will be at Brookside Memorial Park in Montpelier.
