The Adams County Sheriff’s Department apprehended a wanted fugitive for Level 5 Felony charges of Intimidation.
Andrew D. Lengerich, 35, rural Adams County, barricaded himself for four hours in his parents’ Adams County barn following a coordinated operation led by the Adams County Sheriff’s Office. Lengerish was wanted for Level 5 felony charges of intimidation.
The arrest was executed swiftly and safely, thanks to the seamless cooperation and coordination among the participating agencies.
The collaborative efforts of agencies including the Decatur Police Department, Indiana State Police, Adams County EMS, Decatur Fire, and the Adams County Highway Department were instrumental in the apprehension of the suspect.
