The 10 and under Aces team in Wells County had a great weekend in Decatur. It was the team’s first travel tournament, and the Aces finished in third place. All players reside in Wells County and are playing a year under 10, facing others who are a year older. Saturday didn’t start the way they planned it, falling to Fort Wayne Force 13-6 and Freedom 8-0, but Sunday, they got right back on their feet. The Aces went 2-1 on Sunday, defeating the Busco Freedom 22-6 and the Decatur Dynamite 12-5. The team threw 448 pitches, went 56/57 on stolen base attempts, 74 at-bats and 48 runs scored.
