Carolyn June Bailey, 91, of Warren, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at Bluffton Regional Medical Center.
Carolyn was born April 7, 1933, in Huntington County, to Guy L. and Edna (Fahl) Will. She graduated from Rock Creek Township High School in 1951 and married Fred D. Bailey Jan. 31, 1959 at the Markle Church of the Brethren.
Carolyn enjoyed working on the dairy farm with her husband and raising her family. She was a fan of the Chicago Cubs and Purdue. She was a great bowler and bowled in leagues for many years. Carolyn loved her church, Mt. Etna Community Life Church and after Fred passed, she loved to get involved with church activities.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Edna Will; her husband, Fred D. Bailey; and sister, Hilda Dill.
Loving survivors include her children, Marilyn (Steve) Boxell, Rhonda (Kent Seabolt) Droke, and Mark (Rikki) Bailey; grandchildren, Jill (Cory) Worthington, Jon (Tiffany) Jennings, Nathan (Lisa) Boxell, Kaitlyn (Dereck Durham) Boxell, Grace (Trevor) Bower, Ian Boxell, Ashlyn (Zach) Walker, Jessica Bailey, Lauren (Josh) Pohler, Tyler Campbell, Brandon (Alicia) Whitton, Brady Whitton, Kinzi Whitton and Railin Bailey; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Hunter, Austin, Camron, Case, Owen, Rhett, Charlee, Wyatt, Cameron, Jordan, Olivia, Paisley, and Wyatt; siblings, Terry Will, John Will, Pat (Jerry) Duncan, and Tom (Pam) Will; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Mt. Etna Community Life Church located at 6383 W 600 S, Huntington, IN 46750, Saturday, April 27, 2024, at 1 p.m. with visitation from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Pastor Mike Gallant will officiate.
