Donna J. Leas, 93, of Jackson Township in Wells County, passed away at Parkview Huntington Hospital on Jan. 10, 2024.

Donna was born on Aug. 7, 1930, to Eli and Stella (Newhouse) Booher. She graduated from Jackson Township in 1947, and married James “Jim” Leas on Nov. 21, 1951. He preceded her in death on June 12, 2010. 

Donna worked from 1969 to 1975 as an aid at Heritage Pointe in Warren. She then stayed home and watched her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Donna enjoyed watching her shows, General Hospital, Reba, Game Shows and the Food Network. She was very dedicated to her hair appointments. Donna loved to go fishing with Jim, her flowers and humming birds, and mostly, spending time with her family.

Donna was also preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Arvin, Cleo, Nell, Blanche, Olive and Norma, and daughter, Cathy Leas.

Loving survivors include her daughter, Connie (Rex) Jennings of Warren; grandchildren, Eric (Consuela) Tyner of Lolo, Mont., Aaron (Jessika) Tyner of Warren, and Jeremy (Cortney) Farr of Warren; six great-grandchildren, 11 step-great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and two step-great-great-grandchildren.

Friends and family may gather to share and remember from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, 2024, at Glancy-H. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 203 N Matilda St. in Warren. 

 A funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. with Pastor Troy Drayer officiating. A private burial will be held at Asbury Cemetery.
