Ind. 124 will be closed next week between Ind. 3 and Ind. 116. the Indiana Department of Transportation announced Monday.
The highway will be closed for two weeks, starting on or after Aug. 7, to allow for the replacement of multiple culverts. All work is weather dependent and the schedules are subject to change.
INDOT says the approved detour involves Ind. 3 north to Markle and Ind. 116 from Markle to Bluffton. The eastern terminus of the detour is the intersection of Ind. 124 and Ind. 116 just north and west of Bluffton.
