Stanley R. Kirk Jr., 73, of Montpelier, died at 12:30 p.m. Monday, May 8, 2023, at the Albany Health Care facility in Albany, Ind.
He was born Dec. 25, 1949, in Mitchell, Ind., to Stanley Robert Kirk Sr. and Bertha Kirk.
Survivors include his companion, Bonnie Lake Aquino of Montpelier; two sons, Shawn (Chelsea) Aquino of Muncie and Kristopher R. Kirk of New Castle; three daughters, Angela Thompson of Muncie and Brittani N. Kirk and Chelsea D. Bailey, both of Montpelier; and two stepsons, Anthony (BJ) Aquino of San Tan Valley, Ariz., and Corey (Tiffany) Aquino of Royerton, Ind.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother; his stepmother, Zelpha Kirk; and a son, Joshua L. Kirk.
Calling will be from 11 a.m. to noon Thursday, May 11, at the Walker & Glancy Funeral Home, 109 W. Windsor St. in Montpelier. Services will be held at noon Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Dunkirk I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Dunkirk.
