Members of the Bluffton Fire Department and officers from the Indiana Department of Natural Resources were in boats in the Wabash River Wednesday afternoon west of the White Bridge. Det. Quinton Greer of the Wells County Sheriff’s Department said an individual was missing, but he would not provide any more details because he said it was an active investigation.
